Chino Valley OBITUARY Ladd Charles Leopold Ladd Charles Leopold, 83, of Chino, died Aug. 27, 2003, at Chino Valley Medical Center. Born July 23, 1920, in Missoula, MT, he was a Chino resident for the past 10 years and a retired self-employed businessman. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He and his wife, Dolores, had celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary this past July 12. Besides his wife, Mr. Leopold is survived by four children, Charlene Spenst of Mara, B.C., Canada, Michael Leopold of Whittier, Toni Bergeron of San Clemente and Leo Leopold of Chino; a sister, Leann Butler of Oroville, 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Charles Leopold in 1993. Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m.

Monday at Pierce BrothGriffith Mortuary in Chino. A funeral service will be held ers at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery in Commerce. Pierce Brothers Griffith Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
